Katie & John's Swancar Farm Wedding

Swancar Farm Country House

It's my third wedding of 2017 today and I'm back at my favourite second home - Swancar Farm

You just can't stop me from loving every wedding I shoot here. Even on a wet, windy day Swancar Farm throws up some stunning photo opportunities. Today's not one of those days. Its sunny and Spring is finally here. Its still on the cold side but warmer than anything I've shot for the last 4 months. Swancar Farm looks stunning today in the spring sunshine

The whole day takes place at Swancar Farm so no travel at all which I find makes for a more relaxed day. I really do recommend a 'everything under one roof' wedding. The day is more chilled out and flows so much more easily than when there's travel involved.

Bridal prep begins at Swancar Farm once the girls arrive after having their hair done. The ever wonderful Jenni Hughes taking responsibility for the ladies make up. After some prosecco fuelled prep with the ladies, the guys arrive via a rather stunning Ferrari. From the moment I meet John I can tell this is going to be a very emotional day for him. I dont think I've ever seen a more emotional groom than this ... ever! I've seen many grooms suffer from nerves but not emotionally like this. Katie clearly means everything to him and it's a privilege to share moments like this with people.

I'm not going to write the story of the rest of the day because the Swancar Farm photos will do the storytelling.

A huge thank you to both Katie and John for letting me be part of their Swancar Farm wedding and I'll always be grateful for these amazing days that i'm involved in.

It truly is the best job in the world and I love it
