It's my first destination wedding for 2017 and I'm off to Bicester for the first leg of this Oxfordshire photography journey. Like most destination weddings I shoot I always recommend travelling down the night before as driving a long distance on the actual morning is very risky indeed. A traffic jam could cost you the whole of the bridal prep and worse - the ceremony!
After a great nights sleep its up bright and early and have a quick drive over to Godington where Helen, the bridesmaids and her family are all getting ready. The bridal prep starts at the stunning Grange Farm Country Cottages where its fields, fields, horses and fields. It's a beautiful start to the day and the weather's helping too! Its set for gloriously sunshine filled Oxfordshire day
Helen's florist Jemma arrives late morning to deliver all the stunning flowers. I love seeing how important the flowers mean to a bride and it shows in the relationship these guys have with one another (see the pictures for all the feels) Amazing floristry by The Flowershed Oxford
After a champagne fuelled bridal prep its time to head off to the next phase of the Oxfordshire journey. Its off to the gorgeous Oxfordshire village of Hethe for the beautiful ceremony at The Holy Trinity Church. A huge thank you to the Priest and Verger who are insanely welcoming and allow me to capture the ceremony from every angle. Always very appreciative when this happens
The days events in Oxfordshire come to a close at the jaw droppingly stunning Tythe Barn in Launton. A 14th century barn full of rustic charm and one hell of a stunning thatched roof
I loved every minute being part of this gorgeous Oxfordhsire wedding and huge congratulations to Helen and Oliver
