Sally & Matthew - Arkwright Rooms - Nottingham

Well I've finally made it through all the summer editing and have time to write my first blog post for a few months!

Im going to take us back to the beginning of August (Ive shot about 20 weddings since then!) and show you how stunning the Arkwright Rooms are in Nottingham city centre!

The day starts at the bridal prep at the mother of the brides house in Bramcote and all didnt start too well as the poor florist had got the order wrong and the bridesmaids were two bouquets short! Luckily the exact flowers in the other bouquets were growing innocently in mums front garden so off the florist went chopping away in the undergrowth and mustered together the missing bouquets and all was well - the wedding could go ahead!

After a beautiful ceremony at St Leonard's Church in Wollaton it was off to the stunning Arkwright rooms for the reception. And what a beautiful venue this is. The modern architecture blended in within the 19th century buildings was well ... just amazing! It was more than just a photographers dream and spent the rest of the day using every stunning backdrop and every piece of architecture on offer.

Sally and Matt were fantastic to work with and wish them all the happiness for their future together
