I’m getting closer to the end of my 2018 coverage and its Katie & Rob’s turn to get married at the gorgeous Carriage Hall in Plumtree, Nottingham
The Carriage Hall is one of my personal faves and always love shooting here. It’s mid Autumn here today and the all the trees are a mixture of browns and oranges. Really sorry to all those summer couples but spring and Autumn are my favourite seasons to shoot in any day! The light is just sooooo much better in those seasons than the harsh mid afternoon summer sun!
Katie’s prep begins nice and early at her parents house alongside the ever amazing duo of Rochelle O’Brien on make Up duty and Helen Sutcliffe weaving her magic fingers and sculpting the bridal party hair! - Oh before the prep even starts I’ve had to take my wife to A&E as the previous evening my wife decided it would be fun to poke herself in the eye with a blade of fake grass - right in the pupil and not the top or bottom but right in the center - bullseye! It wasn’t looking too good in the morning so we made the decision to drop her off before I headed to the wedding!!! To cut a long story short - She was very lucky it wasn’t that deep a scratch or she could have done some permanent damage!!!
Anyhow - enough about the wife - Back to the wedding! After a few hours of Helen and Rochelle’s magic handy work the bridal party were ready and its off to The Carriage Hall
The ceremony room here is always well lit, even in the colder months and it’s no different today as the bride tribe arrive and its time to get this underway!
Rob takes his place at the front alongside the cutest ever ring bearer (the little guy with the black case) as Katie make’s her appearance. After the gorgeous ceremony its off outside for the couple portraits and the groups before every one cosy’s down for the ever scrumptious food here at the Carriage Hall
The speeches and first dance conclude yet another wonderful day at the Carriage Hall. Congratulations to such an amazing couple
